Shotover Jet & Canyon Swing
Key Trip Information
- Allow up to four hours return to Queenstown for this experience
- The maximum weight for the Canyon Swing is 135kgs (298 pounds) solo and 180kg (395 pounds) for tandem.
- Check-in at the Shotover desk inside the Station Building, corner of Shotover and Camp streets, Queenstown
- You will be heading to Shotover Jet first and then be picked up by Canyon Swing after Jet Boating to continue your adventure.
- Closed toe footwear is required
- Parental / gaurdian consent required for anyone under 16 years
- Minimum age for Canyon Swing is 10 years
- The trip from Shotover Jet to Canyon Swing includes transport, there is no public access to the Canyon Swing site.

KEY TRIP INFORMATION
- You can pick up and use your Skyline ticket in advance of your Shotover Jet ride from the Shotover Desk in the Station building
- Check-in and pick up your tickets at the Shotover Jet desk in the Station building corner of Shotover and Camp Sts.
- Once your Skyline Gondola and 5-run Luge pass has been issued it is valid for use anytime in the next three days.
- Allow 90 minutes return to town for your Shotover Jet experience and similar time again to enjoy the luge and the amazing scenic vistas from the top of the Gondola.
- Skyline opening hours are 10am - 5pm daily
- Gondola is open 9am till late.
- To ride the luge by yourself you must be 110cm in height and 6 years or older.
- Dress warmly for both activities
