Shotover Jet, one of New Zealand’s most iconic tourism businesses, is delighted to announce the appointment of new Business Manager Jolanda Cave.

Mrs Cave, 35, has significant operational and management experience in tourism, and will join the Ngāi Tahu Tourism-owned company on May 30.

Auckland-based Jolanda joins the team from Tourism Holdings Ltd where she has worked as Operations Manager for Kiwi Experience providing leadership and direction to all operational areas of the business for the past three years.

She has a wealth of experience in the domestic and international tourism industry, holding senior roles in both inbound and outbound tourism sectors as well as working for several years in the Cruise sector.

Mrs Cave says she is very much looking forward to the move from Auckland to her new home in Queenstown, together with her husband and two boys.

“I’m really excited to be moving to the adventure capital of New Zealand and looking forward to joining the Shotover Jet team.

“I’ve always known Shotover Jet, I love it, and am passionate about the brand that appeals to everyone.

“Luckily the whole family has officially fallen in love with Queenstown so they’re happy to make the move!”

Ngāi Tahu Tourism Chief Executive Quinton Hall describes Jolanda as “a great new talent” with a strong track record in delivering results.

“She’s known for the energy and passion she’s put into her previous roles and we’re sure she will be an equally strong ambassador for Shotover Jet in the years to come,” he says.
