It goes without saying, you’ll need to pack your winter gear as the temperatures can be a bit frigid. We suggest booking your trip for August to avoid the seasonal peak during school holidays. By then you would have allowed the snow to set in on the slopes and avoid a little rainfall than if you had gone earlier in the season.

Queenstown is world-renowned for its amazing skiing and snowboarding. The Remarkables, one of the major ski areas in town, offers slopes suited for all skill levels – from beginner to expert and is found only 40 minutes from the town centre.
