Proceeds from your ticket will help fund two exciting projects at Queenstown Primary School, aimed at creating vibrant outdoor spaces that will serve tamariki and the wider community for the next 50 years. These projects are designed to foster confidence, connection, and a deeper understanding of the history and culture of our region.

Ways to Welcome:
This project will transform the school’s entrance into a space that inspires tamariki, reflects the stories of the whenua (land) before us, and connects the community. It will serve as a welcoming gateway to the kura and a place for whānau to gather.

A Place to Gather:
By incorporating a Te Kapehu Whetū (celestial compass), this space will honor Ngāi Tahu tīpuna and tell the stories of those who lived and thrived here before this land became home to Queenstown’s first school, Te Kura Tuatahi o Tāhuna.

These projects celebrate our community and cultural heritage, creating spaces that connect, inspire, and honor our shared history in Tāhuna Queenstown.
