COVID-19 UPDATE

New Zealand is currently at Orange.  

Please note: vaccine passes will no longer be required in line with Government advice. But we kindly ask that all visitors please follow health and safety protocols on our premises.

Please read the following information on how Shotover Jet will be operating at this level.  

At Orange

  • We are open 7 days a week!
  • No limit on the number of people on site
  • Face coverings required indoors

As part of fulfilling our health and safety obligations to all kaimahi (staff), manuhiri (visitors), whanau and communities, we are unable to offer our shuttle service from Queenstown. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. If you need any clarification or would like to reschedule or receive a refund, please get in touch with our reservations team. What we're doing to keep you safe:

We require all kaimahi (staff) and encourage manuhiri (visitors) to wear masks at our site. Free masks will be available onsite. Onboard the boats, masks are required for our drivers and all passengers 12+ years are encouraged to wear one. Our boats and life jackets are carefully cleaned after every trip.

At Red

  • We will operate as a cashless site

 

At Orange

  • We are open 7 days a week!
  • No limit on the number of people on site
  • Face coverings required indoors

 

At Green

  • We are open 7 days a week!
  • No limit on the number of people on site
  • Face coverings encouraged indoors

COVID-19 FAQs

Do I have to wear a mask on the jet boat?

Mask use is mandatory indoors and encouraged outdoors and on our vessels at Shotover Jet for anyone over the age of 12. Masks will be available on site. 

I’m based overseas and can no longer make my trip, can I get a refund?

Yes, any bookings affected by COVID-19 can be refunded or moved to another date. For all other booking our standard terms and conditions apply.

What cleaning procedures are in place to ensure a safe environment?

Lifejackets are disinfected between each use, boat hand rails wiped between each use, beach unit and jetty touch points are wiped down during setup and all our customer facing areas cleaned regularly during the day.
